No Signal Light on Rockspace extender-

In this case, if you don’t have a solid signal light on the extender, the possible reason is that it’s disconnected from the router. It happens when you make any changes in the router configuration, firmware update, or change the wifi password. Below are the step-by-step troubleshooting steps for all possible reasons.

1. Try to power cycle your router and extender if you haven’t done a firmware update on the router or extender.

3. Make sure the extender isn’t plugged into a surge protector. 

Red Light on the Rockspace Extender-

If you have a red light on the Rockspace extender, that means it has a connectivity issue. It happens when your Rockspace extender is not able to receive a wifi signal from the main router or you have so many walls in between the router and extender. 

Try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

1. Try to plug the extender into the wifi range. They vary from model to model in how much distance they can cover. Check the manual and place your extender accordingly. 
2. Check the router’s WiFi channel settings. Increase or set the channels to Auto mode.
3. Try to update the firmware of your router for better performance. 

Blinking lights on Rockspace extender-

If your Rockspace extender is showing blinking lights continuously, it means it’s either a hardware issue or due to some corrupted firmware update. The reason behind the corrupted firmware update is that your extender powers off during the firmware update. 

Try the troubleshooting steps below to fix this problem.

1. Try to RESET your Rockspace extender. Push the Reset button for 20 seconds while it is plugged into the power. 
2. Try to update or reinstall the firmware. 
3. If your device is still covered under warranty, try to replace it.
