Can wireless radios be disabled (if only the Ethernet port is being used)

I was able to extend my Wifi network using the AC1200 Wifi Extender, however I only want to use the Ethernet port for access and don’t need to connect to the extended wifi network.   Is there a way for me to turn off the wireless radios and only have the Ethernet port enabled?  Thank you
